Lithium-Ion Battery Safety and Care

Many of the vaporizer devices that we sell are powered by Lithium-Ion batteries. These batteries are safe if handled correctly, but they can be dangerous if they are not. It is your responsibility to use and care for your device and batteries in a safe and responsible manner.

Carrying Your Device and Batteries

To prevent accidents and potential hazards when your vaporizer is not in use:

  • When not in use, your vaporizer should be turned off or set to “lock” mode. This prevents your vaporizer from accidentally turning on and potentially overheating.
  • Make sure your device does not come into contact with other metal items (like keys or coins) as this can, in rare cases, cause a short circuit.
  • Always carry any spare external batteries in a box or battery case as this will prevent short circuits.

Charging Your Device and Batteries

Follow these guidelines when charging your equipment:

  • Always use the charger and mains adapter that came with the device.
  • Do not use your vaporizer while it’s charging.
  • Do not charge your device overnight or when unattended.

Using Batteries Safely

To maintain safety and the longevity of your device:

  • Always use the original batteries or buy your replacement branded batteries from a reputable retailer.
  • Do not allow batteries to get wet.
  • Do not use damaged batteries (e.g., torn wraps).
  • Dispose of damaged batteries safely and do not put in general waste.
